EXTREME TALK
Extreme Talk is full day event offered annually to each of our local Junior High Schools. Students participate in a series of workshops on youth related topics ranging from Suicide, Substance Abuse and Depression to Stress Management, Career Choices, and Bullying. Workshop topics are chosen by meeting with school administrators to determine areas of concern for their school. Presenters are then found who have an expertise in the subject and who have an ability to effectively relate to students. Many different community members and organizations become involved in the facilitation of this day, continuing to make it a valued and highly successful program.
