MISSION STATEMENT
Christian Counselling Ministries provides a broad range of counselling services founded on God’s truths to help people move toward wholeness.

ABOUT US
Since 1994, we have provided a full range of counselling services for individuals, couples, families, and children. The dream for the agency started when it became apparent to many people within the Truro area that a specifically Christian counselling centre was needed. This program would offer these services at affordable rates in order to make them available to everyone. An interdenominational volunteer Board of Directors was formed, and CCM officially opened in March of 1994. An affiliate office was opened in Lower Sakville, NS in January 2006. A wide variety of volunteers work on CCM’s various programs and committees, such as education, fund-raising, and our Freedom Ministry. CCM is a community based, non-denominational, charitable organization, governed by a volunteer Board, and staffed by trained professionals.

Individual, marital, and family counselling is provided for both adults and children. Counselling sessions focus on needs such as addiction, sexual abuse, depression and anxiety, and marital and family concerns. Referrals come from a wide range of denominations within the religious community, as well as government and community agencies, and employee assistance programs. In addition, hundreds of individuals have attended seminars organized by CCM for the community. HighRock Youth Ministries, our youth division, continues to grow and develop, and has established itself as a vital resource for youth within our region.
